Living The Mountain Lifestyle

17 years ago I moved to the Bow Valley from England on a 1 year work placement through my University. I’ve stayed in the Bow Valley because of the many opportunities it has afforded me to live the lifestyle I want to live.

Mountain Biking, Road Riding, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Golfing, relaxing by a lake in the summer, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding and Downhill Skiing are just some of the activities I’m able to pursue at any given time of the year. Originally it was these activities that drew me to the area and to a greater extent have kept me in Canmore for so long. My priority in life is still to live the active lifestyle, but now it’s more about giving my children the same opportunities I was given when I moved here from England. Now my children are able to Mountain Bike, Snowboard and Cross Country Ski and have gained a real appreciation for the beauty of the environment that we live in.
